paste the output here.
An other track, which version of ffmpeg are you using ? Do you x264, mp3,
acc,...?

Another thing than I've not seen before.
Update your version of Openshot the last is the 1.4.3. And like you are on
ubuntu 12.04 update also and especially MLT.

  When I try to export my video, my computer shuts down :(  No idea why
