[Bug 1081730] Re: Using two CT-3650 with mythtv gives corrupt video

We really do appreciate you opening this ticket to help improve
Mythbuntu, but it needs to be closed for a number of reasons. The
biggest one is that upstream has moved on to a new version and believes
this to be fixed. Could you please verify if this issue still exists in
the latest version?

Please do not let the closing of this ticket dissuade you from opening a
new ticket if this (or any other) problem occurs with the newer
versions.

Title:
Using two CT-3650 with mythtv gives corrupt video

Status in Mythbuntu, Ubuntu derivative focused upon MythTV:
  Expired

Bug description:
I would like some help with determining the cause.

I have already tried the 3 AlphaCrypt CI CAMs I have in a standalone
TV. There they work. Individually connected the CT-3650 tuners work
(with an AlphaCrypt inserted). But when I try to use them both I get
strongly distorted video with lots of missing image blocks, and
constant audio glitches. EIT scanning still seems to work.

Any hints how to determine bandwidth issues, CAM setup problems,
driver issues, etc. would be helpful. I have an umm.. intermediate
level understanding of C. So I can do some simple kernel module
hacking given some hints what to look for.
