[Bug 583937] [NEW] Indefinite ghost connection ( > 1 week)
Public bug reported:
I am a regular idler on the main DCDev hub. About a week ago (Saturday
15th), i had a computer crash which involved a reboot, meaning that the
connection from my client to the hub was improperly terminated.
When I tried to log back on, I had a CID taken error which I ignored for
a while. After a week of intermittently attempting to reconnect and
still getting CID errors, I changed my CID and subsiquently got "Nick
Taken" errors. I then changed my nickname and logged on successfully.
Toast has just killed the ghost connection (Friday 21st), but the ghost
connection has been around for a week.
Is this a feature or a bug? (revision in question is whichever one DCDev
is currently running)
