[Bug 587939] Re: dc++ crashes randomly, starting recently
perhaps someone in your hub is having fun with one of the many ways your
ancient version can be crashed? get serious, you can't possibly expect
support on a 4 years old version...

dc++ crashes randomly, starting recently

Status in DC++: Invalid
Bug description:
OS version: Windows 7 Professional (all the latest updates)
DC++ version: 0.699 (I don't agree with some of the latest UI changes)
I've been running DC++ 0.699 in Vista (since it went RTM) and until just recently, Windows 7 (since it hit RTM) with no problems what so ever. It has worked fine for weeks at a time. No it can't handle more than 15-20 minutes without crashing. I have yet devised a way to reproduce the bug. I'm working on that. I should proably also say that I "disabled" the version check by routing dcplusplus.sourceforge.net to localhost since there was no way to disable it in the Settings. All I know is that the intruction at 0x00459766 is TEST AL,AL but since it won't allow me to debug it (gets stuck) I don't know what it's supposed to compare.
