[Bug 611648] Re: DC++ 0.770 freezes a few minutes after startup
@Laszlo, if you log on to 40+ hubs, 0.770 still freezing? If it freezes what if you try a restart while holding the Shift key continously (this prevents connecting previously opened hubs)?
We got another report of restarting DC++ when many hubs were opened in the last session. From version 0.76, there's a new function that restores the opened windows (tabs) from the previous session automatically. Its possible that it has some problems when large number of hubs were opened in certain configurations.
@jkn trimmed, can you try the above as well? Also can you try what I written in comment #9, so do not install anything just try with the portable version (it does not interfere with your current installed older version at all)?
F-Secure is proven an exceptionally p2p-friendly solution (I use it too) so I don't think that's your problem. The release version of DC++ uses one .dll called mingwm10.dll and it isn't changed since we switched to mingw. Maybe your existing settings or too much overall opened hubs are the problem so testing with a clean portable version may give some answer.

Status in DC++: Incomplete
Bug description:
OS: Windows XP SP2 (eng)
DC++: 0.770
Soon after I start DC++, it consumes 90-100% cpu (even task manager freezes).
No such problem happened with earlier versions. Now, I tried to reinstall version 0.762, but that freezes too. :(
May it be some problem of the environment?
I don't remember installing anything lately (nor changing any configuration settings).
(see attached crash report)
