Re: [Bug 611648] Re: DC++ 0.770 freezes a few minutes after startup

Downloaded DC++ 0.77 portable, and trying this.
I've connected to 90 HUBs and it does not freeze like it did, but is
very slow (2-3 sec dropouts). Typically around 90-100% CPU-usage.
Restarted, holding down the shift key. Started normally, then I
started to connect to a hub group, and now it's slow again like above,
but now freezing like earlier. Connecting to the 90 hubs went ok.

Lmocsi

From version 0.76, there's a new function that restores the opened windows (tabs) from the previous session automatically. Its possible that it has some problems when large number of hubs were opened in certain configurations.

The release version of DC++ uses one .dll called mingwm10.dll and it isn't changed since we switched to mingw. Maybe your existing settings or too much overall opened hubs are the problem so testing with a clean portable version may give some answer.

DC++ 0.770 freezes a few minutes after startup

Status in DC++: Incomplete

Bug description:
OS: Windows XP SP2 (eng)
DC++: 0.770

Soon after I start DC++, it consumes 90-100% cpu (even task manager freezes).
No such problem happened with earlier versions. Now, I tried to reinstall version 0.762, but that freezes too. :(

May it be some problem of the environment?
I don't remember installing anything lately (nor changing any configuration settings).

(see attached crash report)
