[Bug 756638] Re: 100% CPU time when using SOCKS5

Possibly a core problem but as you see, in ApexDC++ they have just seemingly fixed a similar problem in the very latest version. If it fixes yours as well, then they may have clue of what could be the actual problem.
That would be useful because here the only developer who has/uses proxy cannot reproduce the problem on Windows 7, which makes the chance of fixing this bug very low.

Anyway make sure you try to to temporarily disable/uninstall every
firewall/security software you may use to see if its really a bug and
not just an incompatibility.

Title:
  100% CPU time when using SOCKS5

Status in DC++:

Bug description:
  Windows 7 64Bit SP1 DC++ >0.782
  When I'm starting DC++ from scratch (No download, no connected hubs, no hashing, nothing!) there is no problem. As I click "Use SOCKS5 for outgoing connections" the CPU time raise from ~1-3% to 95-98% (only on dcplusplus.exe), in about 5 minutes and stays there until' i've killed the process from the task manager. Doesn't matter if a use standard DC++ or any other modified version, 32bit as well as 64bit dosn't matter either.
