Message #04808
[Bug 890798] [NEW] Utterly slow in loading userlist from hub
Public bug reported:
When connecting to a hub on my LAN, it takes upto a minute or so to load
all users, and the share size. Connection to another hub doesn't start
till the current hub finishes. It did not used to happen so normally
with previous versions, I think about three months ago.
As a side effect, if multiple hubs are set to Auto-Connect, the window
stays hung for a tortuously long time, forcing the user to kill it under
the impression that the application has crashed altogether.
On a Maverick Meerkat with all updates applied.
2.4 Ghz i3, 4 GB
** Affects: linuxdcpp (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
