[Bug 1114356] Re: not hashing correctly

/rebuild is to rebuild the hash index and it results a partial or complete rehashing only if the hash database is damaged. If you delete the hash data files your share will obiviously completly rehashed. Both can be a clean solution, but I guess you want to rehash the smallest part as possible from that huge share.
A simple upgrade might solve your problem, if not then you can still force a rebuild or a complete rehash.

Title:
  not hashing correctly

Status in DC++:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  i have a problem with the latest dc++ i hashed previously all the
  files i want, was the correct size, took out 2 harddrives and replaced
  with 3tb's, left hash as is, now sizes are incorrect, now when i
  delete and readd them then dont hash and are instantly added, also at
  the incorrect size, and when i click share hidden they change again,
  if i unclick share hidden to revert back to normal they change to
  nearly half the real size, how do i fix this

  i do have 10tb over 4 drives which has 5tb of hashed data
