[Bug 1225930] Re: FEAT|REQ: Change the system-tray client call behavoir
With r3352, double clicks work for me for window restoration from the
tray, but not for minimize back to the tray.
About the request itself: there's no launching anything here; the DC++
application is already running either way, like most other tray
application do when they restored from the tray. In my case
specifically, I don't have any app in my system tray that'd require a
double click to open its window, though none of them launching anything,
either. They just show the window of their respective application that
has already been running.
If there's a tray item that actually launches something that hasn't ran
before the clicking then the double-click is useful on those cases.
Otherwise it isn't at all and claiming that "most users like" and "most
applications do" double-click in the tray is not true and just pressing
a private preference.
About adding a setting for this, I am always all for customization
options, so nothing against adding one to control this behaviour. Would
be a suprising decision though, since customization of more important
features (and with a lot higher user demand) were simply denied in the
past...

Title:
FEAT|REQ: Change the system-tray client call behavoir

Status in DiCe!++:

Bug description:
Past versions of DC++ and its mods as well as the majority of windows
software which utilizes the system-tray feature lets the user call the
software by Double-Clicking its system-tray icon.
However! In the later/DWT DC++ builds the property has been changed
to single click which I and perhaps many others do not appreciate
because it causes somewhat of a mindfuck and misclicking-frustrations
as it's one of few softwares acting this way.
Please change it back to the way it used to be.
