I only added this to private messages, perhaps it would be beneficial
for hubs as well? (Or, even in AspectChat?)

I moved some the function getShortTimeString so it is by the remaining
time functions, and added minor helpers to allow any arbitrary parameter
to strftime.

  Last message timestamp in the Private Message window status bar

Bug description:
  It would be good if the user could see the timestamp of the last
  received/sent message in the private message window status bar. The
  timestamp should include the date too, since usually the timestamp on
  the chat only shows the time, but it can happen that you leave home
  for a couple of days. In such a case, when you come back, you won't
  have any idea what day you received the message.
