[Bug 1265204] Re: DC++ has encountered a problem and needs to close
Thanks for the quick reply.
Aprox 69500 files 2.59 tb, about 20k of them small ebook files, the rest music and video.
versions tried: 0.705 thru to the present, which was a lot of work because most of the time I had to go through the hashing.
I usually connect to 5 to 7 hubs at a time and have changed the group completely and still get the problem although it does seem to be more frequent with public hubs. I have not tried to get it down to a single hub, should I try to do that?
I have checked everything I could with the XP Pro, all up to date, no malware, and it runs all my other programs very well, 3 gigs of ram, 2 hard drives, and is the fastest XP machine I have ever used, GX620. I also use a USB external drive for share and at times have disconnected it which made no difference.

Title:
DC++ has encountered a problem and needs to close
Status in DC++:
Incomplete
Bug description:
For a long time now I get this message “DC++ has encountered a problem
and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.” Sometimes I
come back later after starting it up and it will just be gone, closed.
This happens randomly, sometimes immediately, sometimes hours,
sometimes a day after restarting it. I have been saving the error .txt
messages from the user temp folder. I have installed older versions,
re-installed various versions. Cleared out any and all temp files and
items relating to DC++ in the registry. Purchased another better,
faster computer, re-installed clean version of XP pro and DC++ and
still get this. Otherwise it works perfectly while it is running.
