LoCo Portal Planning Meeting on Wednesday, February 24, 2016 from 21:00 to 22:00 UTC

Greetings,

My name is Simon Quigley and I am the leader for the Ubuntu US
Wisconsin Local Community team. Recently I noticed that the LoCo
Portal, located at loco.ubuntu.com, hasn't received much development
lately. I spoke to a few individuals about this and we have decided to
have a meeting to plan further development of the portal. Our goal is
to get feature requests, bug reports, and a community prepared for
further development.

If you don't know what the LoCo Portal is, it is a resource for Local
Community teams to use for meetings and events. Visit the website to
learn more.

The meeting will be on #ubuntu-meeting on Freenode (Internet Relay
Chat). For those of you who do not know what Internet Relay Chat, or
IRC, is, it is a text-based communication tool that is commonly used
for development of open source projects, such as Ubuntu. If you click
the below link, type in a username, and press Start, you will be able
to participate in this meeting.

The meeting will take place on Wednesday, February 24, 2016 from 21:00
to 22:00 UTC. Please pass this on to your Local Community team, as we
would like as much feedback as possible. If the dominant language of
your team is not English, feel free to respond to this message with a
translation in your language, and maybe nominate someone to translate
during the meeting for members of your team. If you cannot attend the
meeting but you have feedback, please contact me at tsimonq2 AT ubuntu
DOT com and we will consider what you have to say. You can send an
email in your native language if you choose.

If you have any questions/comments/concerns/suggestions about anything
I covered in this email, email me at tsimonq2 AT ubuntu DOT com
(tsimonq2@xxxxxxxxxx). Otherwise, I hope to see you there! :)

Have a nice day,
Simon Quigley
