Fwd: Dropbox
I got it working this time, pretty much as outlined,
cd
wget -O dropbox.tar.gz http://www.dropbox.com/download\?plat=lnx.x86
tar -zxof dropbox.tar.gz
wget -nd http://dl.dropbox.com/u/6995/dbmakefakelib.py
wget -nd http://dl.dropbox.com/u/6995/dbreadconfig.py
python dbmakefakelib.py
Then setup Dropbox and let it do an initial sync. From now on, to start
Dropbox:
~/.dropbox-dist/dropboxd

Nope, but I'll probably give it a try later (possibly tomorrow) because I'm
fairly interested as well.

Has anyone tried (and succeeded) to get Dropbox working on Lubuntu? There
are "text-based" instructions,

In 2008, the world created 31 billion tonnes of CO2 and the level of CO2 in
the atmosphere rose by 2 ppm, or 16 billion tonnes. Much of the remaining 14
billion tonnes went into making the oceans more acidic. We are changing our
environment too quickly and we are now 12% over the safe threshold of 350
ppm.
