Re: memory leak
Hi,
I ran last night with just pidgin (and the terminal window open, but
inactive)
top - 00:23:48 up 2 min, 1 user, load average: 0.36, 0.17, 0.06
Tasks: 122 total, 1 running, 121 sleeping, 0 stopped, 0 zombie
Cpu(s): 0.0%us, 0.7%sy, 0.0%ni, 99.3%id, 0.0%wa, 0.0%hi, 0.0%si,
0.0%st
Mem: 1016908k total, 237644k used, 779264k free, 23624k buffers
Swap: 367608k total, 0k used, 367608k free, 129788k cached
top - 10:55:56 up 10:34, 1 user, load average: 0.26, 0.85, 1.08
Tasks: 103 total, 2 running, 101 sleeping, 0 stopped, 0 zombie
Cpu(s): 1.3%us, 1.0%sy, 0.0%ni, 97.7%id, 0.0%wa, 0.0%hi, 0.0%si,
0.0%st
Mem: 1016908k total, 388412k used, 628496k free, 51148k buffers
Swap: 367608k total, 0k used, 367608k free, 216380k cached
So, it's not looking like either browser is to blame. (I know there was a
memory leak in Chromium, but that was fixed some time back according to the
bug report).
Next I'll try just leaving a terminal window open, see you all in 6 hours
!!!
Regards,
Phill.
