Are there any applications (not on the default install) for Lubuntu on
the repositories that is specific to Lubuntu *without* pulling in gnome
or kde dependencies which might otherwise bloat the nicely balanced
Lubuntu setup? I don't want to get to the Xubuntu situation where
additional applications tend to make it as unwieldy as the heavyweights.
For example, (I think) I could install Opera, Firefox,
Thunderbird, OpenOffice, Konqueror or Knode which I use in Kubuntu and I
am familiar with, but (I think) that will make Lubuntu heavier and
slower to run, which I don't want to do.
