Hello,
found another interesting music player called Xnoise.It uses 4.5 mb of ram on start up while deadbeef uses 11 mb.Deadbeef also uses 10.8 mb while playing an mp3 (interesting decrease) and xnoise uses 5.7.
It´s a gtk app coded in Python and uses gstreamer so it also plays video´s but it is aimed as a music player.
