I was wondering about the errors generated by a package update. After
reinstalling the ppa, these are the errors that remain:

Ignoring file 'lubuntu-desktop-ppa-maverick.list.save' in directory

fetch
http://ppa.launchpad.net/lubuntu/ppa/ubuntu/dists/maverick/main/binary-i386/Packages.gz
404  Not Found
