Message #02733
Font rendering
Hi,
I am trying to change my fonts in Lubuntu and I can't seem to do it. I've
tried adding the following to ~/.Xresources
Xft.dpi: 96.0
Xft.hinting: true
Xft.hintstyle: hintfull
Xft.antialias: true
Xft.rgba: rgb
But to no avail. In gnome-appearance-properties I do the following:
- Enable Subpixel smoothing
- Then set hinting to full
My fonts look really nice and sharp in GNOME after doing that but I can't
replicate that here on Lubuntu. I was asked in #lubuntu to post here with my
question.
Any ideas? The fuzzy fonts hurt my eyes!
Chris
