Lubuntu is officially free (was: [Bug 675169] Re: Please promote lubuntu-meta to universe )

Yay! This means that all packages on the Lubuntu CD are now officially
free software, and therefore, we do not need to enable the (non-free)
multiverse repositories by default any more. natty, natty-updates and
natty-security for main and universe should now be all we need to
build the Lubuntu ISO images. I'll test this when I have a chance.

While there is no visible practical effect for end users of
lubuntu-meta moving out of multiverse, I suspect (and hope) that this is
one more small step towards full acceptance of Lubuntu into the Ubuntu
family by Canonical.

Incidentally, although the bug asked for promotion to universe,
lubuntu-meta seems to have been promoted directly to main:

  jonathan@lubuntu-a3work:~$ rmadison -s natty lubuntu-meta
  lubuntu-meta | 0.22 | natty | source

I'm definitely not complaining about that :)

[Aside: Ubuntu natty installations seem to enable multiverse and
partner and extras by default at the moment... I hope that will change
before release, so that users are clearly made aware of it whenever they
opt to use non-free software? Does the Lubuntu team have a clear
position on this? Is it written up somewhere?]
