Re: Lubuntu 11.10 Beta 2 - Testing - Part 2
Hello Julien and Everyone,
- When you select a partition, you need to affect all the space of this

What I was trying to explain is: when I did that test, the installer did NOT
allow me to do ANYTHING except allocating the whole space for my HDD to one
partition which is sda1. I couldn't even change the size or anything else.
It happened "only" when installing from LiveCD. With LiveUSB, everything was
fine when it comes to partitioning.
Usually, I use GParted to create the partitions I need then install but
because that was a test, I created my partitions purposely during the
installation to see whether I'll get some errors or not and indeed I got
this one.
I also had this recently, but it seems to be gone with the last ISO. You can

Indeed, */dev/zram0 *is gone with the latest iso.
It's because a new version of ubiquity is available. If you use a recent

If I'm not wrong, it appeared again. I have installed 11.10 (07102011) twice
and I saw that on the 2nd one. Not 100% sure though.
Yes it's normal, we removed it (XChat) in this cycle. But you can install it

Yes, I know I can do that after the installation but why to remove it on the
first place? :) just curious.
You need to update your system before sending automatic bug reports.
Well, even after I update my system, I still can't send reports. However, I
noticed that the PCManFM crashes are less now. When I first reported it, I
had like 5-6 crashes in less than 1 hour.
Please run LSC in a terminal and paste the output to a bug report.
Now LSC has new version with GTK3 with new problem and less crashes. I have
sent all the needed info to Stefano :)
I also have some notes regarding LSC but I'll wait until the final release
then will shot :D
Thanks!
