Just my 2 cents: we've recently updated our LoCo website (which uses
Drupal) and what we've done is linked it in to using the Ubuntu Single
Sign On (SSO). This dramatically reduces the ability for people to
spam because you have to have a launchpad account to write information
or comments. So if you're ever thinking about updating the website
working out a way to integrate this might be worth the pay off with
reduced spam count.
