Fwd: Manual Application Testing for beta2
Hi guys & gals,
once things settle down and 12.04 is out, we're going to be looking for
volunteers to help get the lubuntu specific test cases written for 12.10
testing. The system is only ubuntu at present as various options of which
system to use are only now starting to get finalised.
At this point, you just need to have a think in your head of what tests we
will run against what lubuntu packages. Some will not be solely lubuntu
ones, AFAIK there is going to be some sort of spread-sheet type system so
that for example, something that Xubuntu & Lubuntu share only need writing
once and will report back to their respective areas upon testing.
I'm sure Nicholas can make a far better explanation than I can as to what
is planned!
Regards,
Phill.

The checkbox test ppa has been updated for beta2 -- you may have been
prompted to upgrade if you did the testing during beta1. Feel free to
run thru the tests again (there's some new stuff in there ;-0 ) and
report bugs. Also, check out the new qt interface it's a bit easier to
use than gtk, and additionally, it should automagically file bugs when
things don't work :-)
Everything you need to know is on the wiki page:

Additionally, I posted on this @ my blog:

Thanks,
Nicholas
