Gnome mplayer web streamings on powerpc

Hi

System: iBook G4 512RAM, 1.42GHz CPU
Lubuntu 12.04
Gnome mplayer and Gecko media player 1.0.6 packages from Quantal
Totem movie player 3.0.1 and GStreamer 0.10.36.
Firefox 15.

There is trouble with broken browser plugin packages for powerpc like Gnash, gnome mplayer, gecko, totem, and it is a bit difficult to identify exactly where the problem lies. Gnome mplayer and Gecko does not stream at all in browser on lubuntu 12.04. I have built the 1.0.6 packages from Quantal on 12.04 Precise and they are working fine but with the same issues as the 1.0.5 packages. Except for Gnome mplayer and Gecko 1.0.6 packages I have only installed packages through Synaptic Package Manager. I have been wroking on this to find a way to make browser embedded streams play on powerpc. An interesting discovery have been gnome mplayer 1.0.6 are streaming the commercial videos on Apples home pages all fine, directly in Firefox. I`m not sure why this site works, but it does.
I have been trying different media players and browser plugins, among
them Totem with adjoining packages. A very interesting find has been the
local TV channel streams with gnome mplayer opened through the black
Totem window. There is a double finger click feature in the black Toten
window allowing to open the video or live TV in gnome mplayer (which
opens in a separate windows). For some odd reason this works on the
iBook. I have a suspicion the mplayer-gecko mozilla plugin for ppc is
broken, and when it is opened trough Totem, the Totem mozilla plugin
takes over and works? Totem player in its` self however does not work.
Several of the browser plugins for Gnash, Totem, Mplayer are broken for
ppc, but they are soooo close to working!
I`m in Norway, and the national TV channel might have restrictions
abroad but this is the site that some how stream in gnome mplayer "on
top" of Totem: http://www.nrk.no/nett-tv/direkte/nrk1/ I am using the
windows media player setting on the site (it allows for either
silverlight or windows media player settings.
To sum it all up: Somehow Gnome mplayer streams opened "on top" of Totem.

Any ideas on why this is? I hope it might be usefull for the powerpc beta testing.
