I have no alsamixer in terminal, or sound icon in the taskbar. Has 
anyone managed to get sound on PPC? I have googled this and it seems to 
be an old issue, but I have found no fix for it. I have reinstalled 
alsa-utils, ran "sudo rm /etc/modrpobe.d/blacklist.local.conf" in 
terminal, which did fix the problem in 12.04, but this time not at all. 
I have made a bug report in launchpad 
<https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/alsa-utils/+bug/1060452> and 
a post on the forum but no respons yet. I must admit, I don`t understand 
fully the info written in the Ubuntu PPC FAQ page and there might be 
something there. I have the last iBook G4 from 2005, anyone with similar 
hardware?
