It's been around since mid-November and I've been quite vocal about it:

It's been a real thorn in my side and it's dramatically slowed my ability to properly test the iso images.

I didn't get an reply from you guys for two days now :D I hope everyone is busy with testing ;)
Ok, thanks to Phill who advised to go for the alternate image instead of the desktop one (i386 for both) and indeed, the alternate image installation is DONE successfully from the first time :D

I will try one LAST time to install from the desktop image and will use the same method to create the liveUSB, that is "dd" method. If it will fail yet again, I think someone needs to have a serious look at the desktop image.

Will keep you posted ;)

I hate the same issue previously with the daily image of 18-3-2013 but that was on Beta1 stage. We are now on Beta2 :(

That didn't help previously to fix the issue.


I'm OUT of idea because this is the first time I have a failure installation :(

P.S.Yes, this is a very fresh new installation.


Also note: Lubuntu 12.10 is installed on that very machine and it is my main OS.
