I think you should just subscribe to the bug report and show that it
effects you too. Also feel free to add a comment and subscribe. If
Baltix dev comes up with a fix then maybe Julien could figure out a way
to include that in Lubuntu.

AFAIK we have just one or two devs working on the true "nuts-n-bolts"
that hold Lubuntu together so expecting our devs to tackle an upstream
kernel or syslinux bug is just a huge ask :^)
