Nio,
I've just tested your instructions at
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/grub-n-iso
from items a) to f1), g) and h) and now on the live session cat
/proc/cpuinfo reports 36 bits physical so I guess my Celeron M 1.2Ghz has
PAE capability. note that on lubuntu 12.04 it's reporting 32 bits physical.
thank you for supporting old computers such as mine!
i'm not installing lubuntu 13.04 because my kid is playing on the laptop
now, but in the next weekend or so, i will install and report it to all of
you. anyway, now i'm almost sure it'll work and that laptop will keep
useful! i'm so happy, thanks to all of you. lot's of kudos!
