Re: latest Lubuntu 14.04 in virtualbox

Hello,

Lubuntu, both Native and VM installs are working nicely here. I can't
say the same about Ubuntu Desktop, though, Gnome is going pretty smooth.

I've started using Lubuntu for some other software projects I'm involved
with, and by in large, its been fairly stable. These projects are using
Gfortran, C/C++ tool-chains, CMake, CPack, QT5, Portaudio, FFTW,
Samplerate, and a host of autotools to build them. So far, none have
failed to build && run when all the deps are met.
