Hi Walter,

Unetbootin had a corresponding issue to that of bug #1325801 for
usb-creator, and maybe also some other bug. The version in Ubuntu's
repositories is still bad, but if you get Unetbootin from the
developer's PPA, it works well. (I have tested it.)

mkusb is not affected by this bug, because of the way it works. Win32
Disk Imager works in the same way as mkusb.

I don't know if any other tool to create USB boot drives is affected.
