Re: Acceptable behaviour
Hello Everyone,
This has been developed slowly in the past but it is time to actually do it
and having it ready whenever is needed.
First thing first, thanks a lot Phill for sending this Email. We were
chatting last night me and Phill and I was happy to see that Email after
our chat but didn't want to reply because I was tired. Anyway, this email
is important and we need your help and support, as always :D
Second of all, kindly have a look at this:
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Lubuntu/ContactUs
These are our 'official channels of communications'.
Before we carry on, we need to know what are we talking about.
What Phill is trying to say here is: We need some 'new' guidelines to
control everyone who is on these channels. Plain and simple.
It doesn't matter whether we use the IRC Guidelines and do some changes or
come up with new guidelines, at the end, it should be the same result - we
need something official and professional for our channels.
Having that said, it is my pleasure as a Communication Team Member and TL
to work with the Wiki Guys and everyone with these two teams. Let's dazzle
the world yet again ;)
@Jason
Whenever you are free, please let me know :)
I guess it is better to have 1-2-1 chat and then send an email rather than
trying to have many-2-many chat and it is hard due to different Time Zones
but of course not impossible.
Thank you!
P.S.
My experience with Social Networks is really good. If anyone needs to ask
or clear any confusion, please be my quest :D
