Has anyone else noticed that the new gmux driver produces a
brighter maximum brightness than the old, stock Oneiric driver?

My old driver had a maximum brightness of 15, and the new gmux
driver has a max of 77978.  But surprisingly, the brightest setting
on the new driver is visibly brighter than the max setting on the
old driver!! Nice.
