Re: hfs-bless and macfanctld - new packages if you're interested
The ppa was originally created to hold packages for users to get the fixes they needed to run on macs that were not available in the normal repos. The support community could point those trying to run ubuntu on their mac to one catch all location. It was intended to get fixes for things into the normal repos eventually so they would not have to rely on the ppa. If the hfs-bless utility has patches that some users might need to get things working because that is not in the normal repos, then the mactel support ppa is a good spot for them, but you should probably lobby to get the packages into the standard repos too.
