Please excuse noobish question(s).

I see that the most recent distribution for the Mactel PPA is Raring.

Does this mean that all patches for this PPA for subsequent releases 
have been upstreamed?

Is there a recommended Ubuntu/kernel version for the above MacbookPro?

I ask as I am having a tonne of issues with DisplayPorts, suspend/reboot 
with external monitor etc.
