Public bug reported:

I edited my "Topics I'm Following" block which had the check box for
"New forum post" ticked had "5" in the "Maximum number of items to
display field" I inserted "A" and clicked selected 4 other checkboxes
plus the earlier one then clicked save.

1. I got the error message like I expected: "There was an error with
submitting this form. Please check the marked fields and try again." But
the error does not indicate which of the blocks has the error.

2. When I went back to the "Topics I'm Following" block I was editing
the letter "A" had disappeared and replaced by "5" again and the other
check boxes I had ticked had been unticked.
