** Description changed:

  the ability to hide/unhide content blocks within a View would be useful,
  rather than having to delete a block completely. I am thinking
  specifically where content has been added directly to a View through the
  General > Text box and is not stored elsewhere in the file store area.
  
  Other scenarios might be where a tutor wants to release information
  contained  in a View in increments and would be able to release new
  blocks in a View over time
