When displaying a user and the name of the institution they logged in
from, the name of the institution is displayed rather than the
displayname. Since the name cannot be changed and is limited to a single
character, I cannot provide "friendly" display names, and cannot change
the display once created.

Finding all instances of the use of name versus displayname may be
difficult, but at least two I know of
