[Bug 1181246] [NEW] Copy page button on THAT page
Public bug reported:
Usability Enhancement.
This is a follow up on a usability suggestion that was prompted by a discussion recently on the LinkedIn Mahara group - http://www.linkedin.com/groupItem?view=&gid=2037561&type=member&item=218774186&qid=916282b4-6705-4cfa-b6e1-bc066cf87c21&trk=group_most_popular-0-b-ttl&goback=.gde_2037561_member_218774186.gmp_2037561
I'm currently setting up templates for several hundred students across a
number of years to access, and have to say there must be an easier way
for the individual student to do this. The current process is back-to-
front because students have to go to the place they want the copy to
arrive at (group or personal space), then go to the pages tab, click
Copy a Page, filter to find the page they want to use (hopefully with a
unique name) - and then click copy. My current institution has a list of
several hundred pages with copy enabled so finding the right page isn't
always an easy task.
Copying pages (and collections) would be much simpler for the user if
they could simply visit the page they wanted and click a COPY button on
that page, and then be asked where the copy is to be placed.
Regards, Gordon.
