[Bug 1181241] Re: Renaming pages in a copied collection
Hi Gordon,
This has been implemented in core. :-) From the manual:
"The site administrator can decide to leave out “Copy of...” for copied
pages or collections. This setting needs to be made in the config.php
file. If $cfg->renamecopies = true;, copies of new pages and collections
will have “Copy of” prepended to the title."

Cheers
Kristina

Title:
Renaming pages in a copied collection
Status in Mahara ePortfolio:
Confirmed
Bug description:
Feature enhancement.
When copying a collection it gives the option of editing the name of the collection and then provides a button to "edit collection pages" Unfortunately when you get to this page you've then got to click into the pages one by one to make any amendments - even changing the names. If the names could be directly edited on this page it would be a time saver for updating copies. The bug '#905067 Make "copy of..." optional in titles of copied pages' will help considerably when dealing with this for templates where the content will be retained, but being able to change the titles quickly would help make both templates and other copied pages more usable.
