[Bug 1236771] Re: Block drag-and-drop zones don't line up with gray zone indicators
I'm re-titling this to cover the slightly more broad phenomenon of how
the sensitive zone for drag-and-drop doesn't always line up with the
gray visual indicator. At its most extreme, this can make it impossible
to drag a block into a particular row.
I forgot to mention, but my previous screenshot was taken in Chromium on
Ubuntu, on a window approximately 960 x 1080 in size.

Title:
Block drag-and-drop zones don't line up with gray zone indicators
Status in Mahara ePortfolio:
New
Bug description:
I just tested the Mahara 1.8rc1, on a linux server with a MySQL DB. To
view the site I am using a Mac OS Laptop with Chrome Version
30.0.1599.69.
I created a page with a flexible page layout of 4 rows and every row with 3 columns (33 - 33 - 33).
When I add blocks to the lower rows and leave the upper rows empty I sometimes can't reposition the blocks.
Example: I leave the upper 2 rows empty, then try to reposition one
block of the third row to the second. The areas where I can put blocks
are highlighted in gray, with the place I hover over being highlighted
in yellow. Most of the time the yellow highlighting is displayed in
the first or third row and I can't put a block in the second row. This
happens with some layouts but not all.
Regards,
Angela
