Message #14835
[Bug 547456] Re: Have Multiple View "instances" within a single View
In Mahara version 1.8 it is now possible to do this. There has been
major changes around layouts - allowing for flexible layouts.
One now can choose pre-existing flexible layouts or create their own
ones. So will mark this as fixed

Title:
Have Multiple View "instances" within a single View
Status in Mahara ePortfolio:
Fix Released
Bug description:
This is hard to explain...
At the moment, a view consists of 1-3 columns and that's it. It would
be *very* cool to have, say, a single column and then click a button
to create a whole new column set beneath that with an independent
number of columns. This would provide the student with almost infinite
flexibility in the view.
More rambling: for example, a single "view" column-set (need to think
of a name for this) at the top and bottom could provide a header and a
footer.
