>From initial test this looks to be sorted out in v1.8 - no matter how
big a file I try to add to a submitted folder the response - You cannot
add content to a folder in a submitted page - is instantaneous both for
upload file field and dropzone.

So will mark this as invalid

  Give earlier warning when file upload is attempted into submitted
  folder

Status in Mahara ePortfolio:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  It seems like files are being uploaded and only in the last minute the
  upload is aborted and a message given that files can't be uploaded
  into submitted folders. It would be better if the check was made
  earlier so that a user doesn't have to wait, esp. when wanting to
  upload large files, only to get the "Can't upload" error message.
