Hi Aaron,

Yes, the problem occurs every time I try to access the profile. I did a
short (1min) recording here of how it looks in the interface

I actually realised (by looking at the paths mentioned in the error)
that the error occured for a live version (on the same server) where we
use 1.8.1 so it did not occur for the 1.9rc1 so it has nothing to do
with it.

There is nothing showing up in the server log for the 1.9.

  1.9rc1 Profile page not loading

Status in Mahara ePortfolio:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  Upgraded my 1.8.1 to 1.9rc1. When loading my profile from the menu
  (myinstalation.com/artefact/internal/index.php) it just says
  "loading..." without nothing being displayed. Tried it Chrome, IE10
  and Firefox and same result
