[Bug 1315841] Re: PDF plugin renders Mac Office 2011 PDF incorrectly on Chrome
Hi Saburo,
I'm not able to replicate the problem. I took the PDF file you provided,
and I also created a PDF file using a copy of MS Office 2010. I put
these into blocks and viewed them in these browsers:
Linux + Firefox 29.0
Linux + Chromium 34.0.1847.116 Ubuntu 12.04 (260972)
Windows 7 + Firefox 21.0
Windows 7 + Chromium 34.0.1847.131 m
Windows 7 + IE 11
They both displayed correctly, in all these browsers.
Cheers,
Aaron

Title:
PDF plugin renders Mac Office 2011 PDF incorrectly on Chrome
Status in Mahara ePortfolio:
Incomplete
Bug description:
For a combination of PDF files and a browser, Mahara PDF plugin
renders PDF files incorrectly. Namely, fonts are unreadably magnified
and overlap.
This consistently occurs for
-PDF files generated by Mac Office 2011, either with Save as PDF or Print to PDF
and
-Google Chrome 34, Windows and OSX
and does not occur for
-PDF files generated by Office 2010 and dvipdfmx
or
-Firefox
I find this possible bug on my installation of Mahara 1.9.1testing
running on Debian GNU/Linux 7.0.
