[Bug 1315841] Re: PDF plugin renders Mac Office 2011 PDF incorrectly on Chrome
Hi Aaron,
Thank you very much for examining my report.
For our installation of Mahara, the problem persists for
-Chrome on OS X 10.9
-Chrome on Windows Vista
Because the bug does not replicate in so many browsers/OS, it is likely
that this comes from a fault in our server installation. I will report
again when I find it or a future upgrade solves the problem.

Title:
PDF plugin renders Mac Office 2011 PDF incorrectly on Chrome
Status in Mahara ePortfolio:
Incomplete
Bug description:
For a combination of PDF files and a browser, Mahara PDF plugin
renders PDF files incorrectly. Namely, fonts are unreadably magnified
and overlap.
This consistently occurs for
-PDF files generated by Mac Office 2011, either with Save as PDF or Print to PDF
and
-Google Chrome 34, Windows and OSX
and does not occur for
-PDF files generated by Office 2010 and dvipdfmx
or
-Firefox
I find this possible bug on my installation of Mahara 1.9.1testing
running on Debian GNU/Linux 7.0.
