I am unable to replicate your problem.

But with more information I will be able to do some more in-depth
testing.

Are you able to give some more information about your system.

Are you trying to leave feedback on a user /  group / institution page?

Is the person trying to leave feedback an admin or a user that has been
granted permission to the page?

  When Placing Feedback Nothing Happens

Bug description:
  Hello,

  We just installed Mahara 1.9 and found that when we attempt to place
  feedback on a page the button does change to say "processing," but
  nothing happens after that. We tested in both Windows 7 and Mac
  Mountain Lion operating systems, the MySQL database and tested in
  Firefox 26.

  Have others noticed this?
