[Bug 1376066] Re: Copying pages / templates without having an account

So you mean have the ability to export to Leap2A someone else's page? So
kinda work like Portfolio -> Export but auto-magically select leap2a and
the particular page to export (and I guess make sure the user has view
permission on the page) and head straight to the actual exporting part
all from the click of a button on the view page.

It sounds doable :)

Title:
Copying pages / templates without having an account

Status in Mahara ePortfolio:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
Mahara users who are not on the same Mahara instance are often
interested in templates from users that are not on their instance.
They can ask the owners to make a Leap2A export and then receive that
  via email.

It would be nicer if it were possible to have a "Copy button" that
instead of copying the portfolio (page or collection) into your
account (since you don't have one), creates a Leap2A export file that
you can download and then import into your own instance.
