[Bug 1393234] Re: Restrict forum access to certain people

 

Having just taken a look at the current group settings... this feature
would actually not be that much of a "feature creep". It's sort of an
extension of the current system of controlling who are the moderators,
and who can post topics.

However, because there's an easy workaround (create another group!), I
think this one is a low priority unless someone wants to fund its
development.

  If you have a large group of people, you may want to restrict access
  to a forum based on their membership role in the group (or maybe even
  based on individual names) in order to be more flexible on how to
  communicate in the group without having to create separate groups to
  enable separate discussions.
