Group pages can have skins since Mahara 1.8. That is a good step. Since
we do want to consolidate skins and themes to make it easier for users,
I'll close this feature request.

Bug description:
  Portfolio pages can be assigned one of the pre-defined themes if the
  site admin allows that. The same should be possible for group pages.
