Hi Charlie,

I think those are all icons from the FontAwesome library. Can you take a
look at their demo site in Windows 8 and see if the icons show up? That
would help us determine if it's a bug inherent to FontAwesome or if it's
a Mahara-specific problem.

Title:
  Windows 8 is missing all icons in Mahara as well as the fonts look
  different to what is generated in firefox and Chromium

Status in Mahara:
  New

Bug description:
  After testing bu# 1323920 in Firefox yesterday I moved on to test the
  fix in Widows 7 and above. Currently all the icons in windows 8 are
  all missing and the font look different from what's generated in
  Firefox. Please see an attached sample of some of the missing icons.
